One thing to keep in mind is that when you use the filters on the right side of a results page, what you're doing is telling the archive, "Show me any stories that have all of these things in themThe filters work as ‘AND’ conditions, rather than ‘OR’, so if you select multiple fandoms (or categories/pairings/warnings/etc.) you will only get results ( Read more... )

If you're showing gifts under your name that you don't believe are yours -- make sure that the gift is displaying your full pseud+username, and not just a part that might easily be shared with someone else (that is, someone might have a pseud that's the same as your username, or a pseud that's the same as your pseud ( Read more... )

Given the disparity between Yuletide signup names and AO3 usernames, and the bug issues with usernames qualified by pseuds, you may have gifts you're unaware of! Many people have multiple stories, but the way the recipient's name is on them may vary, depending on whether they were uploaded before you created your own AO3 account, and whether they ( Read more... )

Because of the heavy load on the server, we are choosing not to open Yuletide Madness 2009 until sometime tomorrow!

You guys are so incredibly awesome, I don't have words. Every time we ask for more, you come through, and we think we finally have everyone covered with a full-length story!

The 2009 collections will be closed to uploading and the stories will go live in roughly 40 minutes (around 1am Eastern US time).

Please, please, folks, if your story is over 1000 words, go in and edit it so the Collections field has the tag for Yuletide 2009 (yuletide2009), not Yuletide Madness, whether you are an assigned author, or not. There are a lot of 1000+ stories currently placed in the Yuletide Madness collection, and they should be moved!
